St. Francis Hospice Dublin 15
Plans for the development of a full hospice service for the Dublin 15 area were unveiled last Tuesday night, 10th February in the Blanchardstown Centre. Hosted by RTE presenter and local Dublin 15 resident, Micheal Ó Muircheartaigh, the event was attended by representatives of businesses and community groups active in the area.

According to Ethel McKenna, Chief Executive Office of St. Francis Hospice, “it has now been clearly established that an additional hospice is required for the Dublin North-West area. The establishment of this new facility, under the management of St. Francis Hospice, will include the immediate requirements of a base for our Home Care Team who are currently operating in the area and the building of a Hospice Day Care facility.”

For Benefactors wishing to contribute regularly by Standing Order through a current account, we have a standing order facility. Blank forms available at the back of the church.

The First Communion Preparation Team needs more help!!
The children of 2nd class have been preparing for their First Communion in school since early this year. It is important that our parish community supports the children in the next couple of months. One way you can do this is through the Faith Friends Programme. Could you spare one night for training and some more time for three sessions with the children in your own home? Please contact Jenny @ 087-2764923 as soon as possible. Thank you.

St.Thomas the Apostle Church – 11th Anniversary
This weekend is the 11th anniversary of the opening of our church building (June 6th 1993). Thanks to everybody who made it possible - all the benefactors of our church - all the Committees - from the very first fund-raising committee 16 years ago to the vibrant community we have here today. To all the people who are involved in both the liturgical and administrative life of our parish and a special welcome to all who have come to live and worship here since that day.

We remember in our prayers Kelly Matibag who is being ordained today in Madrid. Kelly was a deacon here last year and helped out with both parish and school activities.
