Tuesday to Friday at 10.00a.m.

Welcome

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome people who have come to live in this parish during the past year. Welcome also to visitors who are with us for Christmas. Please remember to pray for our emigrants who are unable to return home for Christmas.

The World Day of Peace 2012 will be celebrated in the diocese at a special Mass in St. Mary's Church, Haddington Road on Sunday next 1st January at 11.00a.m. The theme chosen by the Holy Father this year is 'Educating Young People in Justice and Peace.'

"Home" for Christmas

Amidst the austerity and uncertainty that pertains here in our country, a little good news is always welcome. Local charity Bekind Ireland is happy to let you know of the opening of a new home for vulnerable orphaned and abandoned little boys in Calcutta. The Bekind Boys Home in association with the Hope Foundation will open in January for 20 very needy children. Brian and all at Bekind Ireland have asked us to express their deep gratitude to all the parishioners and community here for the support given to them. Full details on www.bekind.ie

D15 Goal Charity Mile organised by Metro-St. Brigid's Athletic Club are inviting young and old to join Ireland's most famous miler Eamonn Coughlan and a host of personalities for the first running of the Goal Charity Mile for the Dublin 15 area. See poster in church courtyard for full details.

Christmas Pastoral Offerings are being handed in at this time. Thanks to all who have already contributed. Envelopes can be brought to the church and either left into the Sacristy or put into the basked during the collections. Thank you for your continued support.
