Choirs
There are a number of groups who make a contibution to the liturgical life of the parish with the music they provide to enhance liturgies.
The 10 o'clock Sunday Mass is the family mass and the children's choir. Until recently, Margaret Byrne was the director who gave of her time tirelessly to encourage these young singers. A newe director will be appointed soon and Margaret has kindly agreed to mentor the new person until he/she is settled in.
The 11 o'clock Folk group sing at most of the 11 o'clock masses throughout the year, under the direction of Martina Flanagan.
At 12 o'clock, Bealtaine and Cana share the honours each with their own brand of liturgical music.
We hope to extend this section to include details of each of the many
musical groups within the parish. In the meantime, if you are interested
in any of the groups, just talk to any of the members after mass.
