Choirs
There are a number of groups who make a contibution to the liturgical life of the parish with the music they provide to enhance liturgies.

The 10 o'clock Sunday Mass is the family mass and the children's choir. Until recently, Margaret Byrne was the director who gave of her time tirelessly to encourage these young singers. A newe director will be appointed soon and Margaret has kindly agreed to mentor the new person until he/she is settled in.

The 11 o'clock Folk group sing at most of the 11 o'clock masses throughout the year, under the direction of Martina Flanagan.

At 12 o'clock, Bealtaine and Cana share the honours each with their own brand of liturgical music.

We hope to extend this section to include details of each of the many musical groups within the parish. In the meantime, if you are interested in any of the groups, just talk to any of the members after mass.

Giving of Ourselves

Our time, our talent and our treasure

Sometimes it can be easier to receive than to give - yet it is in giving that we receive! When asked to give to our parish, we usually think in terms of money. This offering of money is important for the running of the parish, but there are also other ways to give!

So why not think about the 3 T's of giving:

1. Treasure

Giving financially whether through standing order or weekly collection

2. Time

Do I use my time wisely? Could I give an hour or two to a voluntary group either in the parish or elsewhere? Could I make time for helping out in the community?

3. Talent

Do I make full use of the gifts I have been given? Could I use my talents or gifts to help others?

If you would like to give of your time and make use of those gifts within each of us please contact the parish office.
